Man has always tried to perform any such significant event in the most remarkable style befitting the best of his capability. The Wedding Ring is one such vital object man would always pay special attention to.

The Platinum and Diamond Wedding Rings

So far the Wedding Rings are concerned, it could be made of just any metal you like, for example: Silver, Gold ( White or Yellow Gold) or even Platinum. Usually such Wedding Rings are of two basic patterns – Rings or Bands. Rings are generally made from Gold and Platinum or even in combination of both these precious metals. To add glory to these most expensive and precious metals, one can easily go for some added attractions such as : Diamonds / Solitaires, Emeralds, Sapphires or Rubies or say any precious stones and gems of his or her particular choice. This not only gives the elegance to the Wedding Rings but also designates your financial status, your personal preferences and besides all your extent of love, affection, gratitude as well as faithfulness towards each other.

So far maintaining the social custom is concerned, you can easily wear any readymade standards ring made from any metal and could make a go. But the Wedding Rings are no more limited to mere custom or formalities, but it has crossed all the boundaries. It won’t be wrong if it is put in this way - that the richer class of the societies literally  try to step ahead of their competitors for establishing their strength by just investing or spending maximum to their capacity for getting the Platinum and Diamond Wedding Rings prepared exclusively of unique pattern and styles. They simply don’t spare any possibility of using the apex materials, cost no factor.

Platinum is preferred the most when compared with Gold because it is more expensive. The reason behind its more cost is mostly because the Platinum was primarily mined in the Republic of Russia where there was no stable government or favorable economic status too, due to which the export of Platinum was restricted by the government of Russia. This gap in demand and supply shortfall in Platinum forced the rest of the world to raise the prices. One more vital factor worth considering for rare metal of Platinum’s higher cost is that Platinum requires the processing of almost 10 tons of ore for obtaining merely an ounce of pure platinum. Whereas in the case of Gold, the required quantity of raw gold rocks is just 4-4 tons for yielding an ounce of pure Gold. So far the strengths or the numbers of mines are concerned, there is hardly one mine of Platinum against every ten mines of Gold.
