Paula Ann Groover, well known as Paula Deen is a cook, restaurateur, writer, and TV personality who lives in Savannah, Georgia. She has The Lady and Sons restaurant in Savannah, and runs it with her sons, Jamie and Bobby. She has also published four cookbooks on home cooking.
Paula's Home Cooking is a food network show, which is hosted by Paula Deen. Deen's primary cooking focuses on southern cooking and familiar comfort food, which is more popular with Americans with classic dishes such as pot roast, fried okra, and pecan pie, are the standard dishes. Most complicated or odd recipes are usually avoided. Dishes, which are tasty and well known, are focused, although the fat content and calorie count of the meals are often very high. Paula also shows off vignettes of Savannah, Georgia, where she co-owns with her sons, The Lady and Sons.

The Lady's Cheese Biscuits and Garlic Butter is the popular Paula’s recipe. The preparation of it includes the following procedure:
- In order to prepare this recipe first preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Then mix flour, baking powder, and sugar together with the use of fork.
- Mix in shortening with the help of fork or pastry blender until mixture look like a coarse cornmeal and mix in cheese.
- Slightly stir in buttermilk until just blended do not overmix it. Next drop by tablespoonfuls onto a well-greased baking sheet.
- Bake approximately 12 to 15 minutes then brush it with a butter or garlic butter.
- Garlic Butter instructions-- combine butter and garlic in small pan over medium heat.
- Cook this recipe until butter completely absorbs garlic flavor, but do not allow the garlic to get more color.
- Then remove this recipe from medium heat, and discard garlic.
- This type of recipe can be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for maximum two weeks.
