Korean cooking has emerged as one of the most exciting and robust tastes of Asia, with great variety and some of the world's most sophisticated techniques for pickling and cooking with garlic and hot pepper. Traditionally in Korea two different types of Korean cooking are well known. One is the cuisine of the royal court and other one is the home cooking of the common people. Generally, Korean foods are prepared with mixture of ginger, garlic, pepper sesame, scallions and soy sauce. Traditional Korean home cooking combines simplicity, healthiness, and comfort, which make it perfect for daily eating. Korean cooking has the strong, pungent flavors of dishes as kimchi; the most seasoned dishes are fermented vegetables that get a sizzling jerk from pepper. In Korean food Kimchi is always served. Kimchi is a popular example of home style cooking. Kimchi, this customary Korean food is a fermented cabbage. It is saturated in salt and red pepper for weeks; and then fermented cabbage takes taste of hot vinegar. There are supposed to be about 200 kinds of kimchi available.
The traditional event of Koreans is Kimjang in that kimichi is prepared during winter season. For making Kimjang Kimichi, Korean cabbage and redish are used along with some more spicy vegetables are applied such as parley, mustard leaf, garlic, green onion and ginger. Korean people are preparing kimichi with much taste by using pickled fish and powdered red pepper. If you completely enjoy this taste, it is important to remember that prevent Kimichi from tuming sour. This Kimichi provides vitamins A and C and also number of lactic acids that are produced as the kimchi ferment. Lactic acid creates a chemical reaction, which is effective in curing intestinal condition. During winter season deficiency will occur because the vegetable supply is quite short. Kimajang Kimchi is so nutritious in several ways and it is also called as winter staple. For that reason you can get Kimichi in any region or any household in Korea. In fact Korean food is distinctive in its flavor and history. There are three different cultures in Korea and they all cook rice, soy sauce along with noodles. But Korean cooking is unique, their dishes like Kimchi is a strong and pungent flavors. These are highly seasoned side dish of fermented vegetables that gets a fiery kick from chile peppers. Kimchi is a famous item in Korean meals.
Korean Peoples take their meals not in regular way. They eat main dishes, sides and condiments including white rice. Many cooks in Korea try to match all five important taste of sweetness, salty, sour, hot and also bittern, for making colorful vegetable along with spicy sauce they mainly use red green and yellow color and for preparing dish called bibim bob, a bowl of rice topped with sautéed beef they use black and white color. Kimchi is a healthy food and it has high level of vitamins (ascorbic acid, carotene, B-complex), minerals (calcium, iron, potassium) and dietary fiber.
