Toddler Toys
Let your toddlers play to learn. Kids are stubborn and believe me every kid is.. if you don’t bring the toy the kid likes to play with they won’t mind throwing your hard earned toys out. And choosing an appropriate toy is not easy. Again the toys fascinate the kids for sometime and then stay back in the closet. But again there are only few toys you will mark, your kid plays with quite often. And you cannot say with what. That varies from child to child, depends on his area of interest. Some kids may like playing with animals, kites, others with dolls and some others may find it girlish as well.
You need to observe your child keenly for this. Depending on these observations you are bound to get a clue about what your baby prefers more. Child’s age and gender should be taken care of while choosing an appropriate toy for your kid. Again the toy you choose should be safe enough should be in your budget and must be educationally useful in future.
Some games are also useful rather than simply buying teddy bears your kids would hug to. But yes, you need to teach your child play the game and you need to get involved yourself as well. That would make a better playing and learning experience for your kid. You need to be a part of kids play and your responsibility increases manifold if you have only one kid who doesn’t have anyone else to play with. If you have a few you can set your kids to play all alone but at the same time ensure that none of the kid gets hurt.
Kids are again quite choosy in selecting their toys and that very well depends on the gender of the child. Boys from their early toddler days love playing with bat and balls and girls on the other hand prefer playing with dolls and teddy bears.
Boys like water pools and girls love showers. Girls love playing with small utensils while boys like working in the garden. It’s natural. It seems kids have mastered these skills in heaven.
Educational toys are the most popular these days. Stacking and sorting toys help develop motor skills. They are required at the initial stages of toddler hood when your child learns to grasp things, try to walk holding something, try to stand on his own. Simple toys like a walker, an abacus tool for him to provide exercise to his tiny fingers as well as learn counting. Stacking and creating large monuments is a thing every kid loves and they feel great doing it. It gives them a sense of eureka, I have done it.
A child enjoys bathing with a fill and spill toy. And puzzles are a lot fun. Contrasting colors would captivate baby’s attraction. They can be given toys with different colors or many colors in one, like a colorful ball, colored blocks to stack, so your child can learn identifying colors and enjoy playing.
