Arts and Crafts for Toddlers
As your child grows and you put him in school you won’t be able to devote much time to arts and crafts. Toddler hood is the best time to make the most of everything. Let child learn and play. Parents are becoming conscious these days and do help their kids learn crafts and art and be on their own.
There are several arts and craft activities for toddlers. Here are a few you can help your toddler with.
Collect actual bird feathers from your terraces. Find out, you will get a lot of them. Then draw the picture of the bird and let your tiny tot glue the feathers to it. It would learn identifying the bird and later the names of birds too. Peacock feathers and other artificial feathers are easily available in the market. You can use those if you with. You can again have the pictures of the animals, cut them and let your baby stick them to a specific wall letting him make a collage of it.
They can make their own flowers too. Cut petal shaped yellow petals and a brown circle. Let the baby make a sunflower out of it. Same manner you can use different colors to make roses, violets etc. Take these papers, and cut out different shapes as many as possible. Give them all to your kids along with a sheet of paper and help them glue it. This would enhance their imagination and you would surely have a dream project out of your kid.
Give your kids crayons to play with and that will be doing wonders !!!!!!!. They can draw shapes, outline them, color them and do a lot more. They will learn identifying the shapes, the names of the colors and again you will be able to analyze your child’s favorite color.
Write something on a piece of paper and let your baby erase the same. This would help him learn tidiness and neatness in work when he grows up.
Let him sharpen the pencils when the leads get blunt. He would learn what makes the difference writing with sharp and blunt pencils. And make sure your child doesn’t waste the pencil by sharpening across the whole length of it.
